About the project

A website shaped by the business

What To Do Nearby is a Westgate WEBS project for discovering Massachusetts places, local events and day-trip ideas. It brings listings, categories and search into an experience shaped around the question visitors ask: what can we do nearby?

Westgate WEBS’ role

The project demonstrates Westgate WEBS’ work on a discovery website, including page design, listing content, search presentation and local information. Its illustrated visual identity gives the site a recognizable character while the listings provide useful routes into the places being featured.

A directory people can navigate

Search, categories and listing details help visitors move from a broad idea to a specific place. Clear information supports that choice, particularly when hours, access or seasonal events may change. The design gives those details a place without losing the pleasure of discovery.

Build around the people using the information

The site includes paths for adding a place and requesting listing updates. Those needs shape the project as much as its visual design. What To Do Nearby remains a growing live project, with content and features developing as the directory expands.

Our commitment to your business

Your business is our priority.

Your business deserves more than a cookie-cutter website and a one-size-fits-all service plan. We take time to understand your services, your customers and the work you want your website to do.

We do not take on a new competing business of the same type in an existing client’s service area. We cannot compete with ourselves and give both businesses our full commitment.

Personal attention. Clear priorities.

We choose our projects with care. That means focused recommendations, work shaped around your business and a relationship that continues beyond a page launch.

Tell us your business type and service area. We will discuss availability and potential conflicts at the start of the conversation.
